Dani is an emerging visual artist who works primarily with bold, graphic drawings and paintings. Born and raised in New York, her passion for art began at a very young age. In her most recent collection, her work draws inspiration from pop art of the 1960's. Each piece is a unique, original work and is hand painted on various luxury items sourced from around the world. The paintings are meant to emote a feeling of nostalgia, be an over-saturation of beauty and exude femininity.
Dani received her Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California Roski School of Art in May 2015. Since graduating, she has gone on to launch her own hand drawn temporary tattoo brand, INKED by Dani, that is inspired by her fine arts background. Her brand is now sold in major retailers worldwide, and has been featured in publications including Vogue, Teen Vogue, People, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Elle, Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post, and more.
Many of the works here are inspired by topography, cartography, blueprints, maps, and diagrams. They are put into the layering process and then rediscovered as something else during the removal and marking process. I liken it to an archeological dig site only I have inserted the artifacts in the sedimentary layers that my process has created. Paint, paper, original drawings and diagrams are added at different periods in the process to be excavated at a later date.
The discovery process in my work excites me. I gather information and inspiration from everything around me, storing it in my brain to access at a later date, like a malfunctioning hard drive.
Build it up tear it down and put it back together again. It’s during the removal and piecing it back together is when I find my way in a painting -- looking for moments to grab onto and follow. Sometimes I feel like I am overhearing a remark -- like I am listening in on a conversation—until something is said that interests me.
I like to be stopped dead in my tracks. Whether a song, book, poem, a mark, a painting, or a ghost — and move on that.

Artist Statement
I create art because I have to. I am driven by curiosity and gather inspiration from a variety of places: nature, photography, humor, and everyday objects. I enjoy many styles of painting and use a variety of mediums and materials. I love mixed media for that reason.
My abstract ink and resin paintings have evolved from years of experimentation with an elixir of inks, pigments, paints, resins used on different substrates. It is a meditative process and the result appears organic in nature. This series appears scientific to me. I see many things such as geodes, human cells, irises, and orbs in the work.
Larry is self-taught and has learned about color and flow through experimentation. There is nothing more rewarding to Dr. Silver then picking colors and telling a story through manipulation of the paint in multiples ways. Through a combination of color and symbolism he creates beauty with a positive energy. For years he would make close friends and family very different pieces that were specifically designed for that person. After years of observing artistic gifts proudly displayed in the homes of friends and family, he was encouraged to create pieces professionally.
When not painting, Dr. Silver practices as a podiatric surgeon since 1991. He is a board certified reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon. In addition, Dr. Silver is on the credential committee at New York Presbyterian Queens and is the Assistant Residency Director of it's foot surgical training program. Although creativity has it's place in surgery, most procedures are extremely repetitive. Precision and being exact are imperative to good reproduclulbe results. The dichotomy between surgery and painting is what makes the abstract world of art so appealing to him.
Kim is an American abstract artist and television producer living and working in New York. She graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University and is currently a Producer with Dateline NBC.
Her work is characterized as being colorful, vibrant and captivating. She says it is a reflection of how she feels when she is painting.
“The world can be complicated at times. The events that surround us, that we hear about on the news, often so dark and tragic. Those are often the stories I cover as a television producer. Painting gives, me the opportunity to escape into my very own creative bubble, a fantasy of color, a place where I can use pure spontaneity. To me, color represents life and happiness. I use bold and bright colors to create art that brings a soothing flow of positive energy into any space in which it is placed. I’ve personally discovered that color can have a truly fascinating effect on our every day lives.”
Kim uses acrylic paint and pours it onto canvas in a way that elicits feelings of fluidity, and movement. She has also created a series of dynamic and jovial collage paintings with names like “BubbleYum” and “Confetti” - these works are made with recycled paint peels. The collages are very textured, and have a three dimensional appearance. They are sealed with high gloss finish. All of Kim’s pieces are one of a kind originals. Commissions are always welcome.
Shari-Beth is a big believer in throwing “IT” against the wall and see what sticks. In this case its paint!
Shari-Beth has been a personal trainer for the past 19 years. Her love for fitness is contagious. She loves working with men and women to help them create a lifestyle that includes weight training, cardio, and healthy nutrition.
In September of 2016, Shari-Beth became an empty nester. With some extra time on her hands, she thought she would spend time with her aging mother. But that idea changed when her mom passed away later that month.
In a 2-year span, Shari-Beth lost her mother, father, brother, and father-in-law and somewhere in between she was diagnosed with breast cancer. This combination could make your head spin. But, this led her to art -specifically Resin Art.
After YouTubing abstract techniques she fell in love with Resin Art. By using acrylics and resin on a wood panel, each original painting is completely unique and full of depth. As light reflects off the glassy surface of the resin, the complexities of the multi-layers are revealed, conveying a sense of wonder.
She builds each piece one layer at a time, carefully controlling the flow of resin while allowing it to settle on its own. This style is a way for her to explore her thoughts without constraint and find peace and beauty in the unknown. For her, art is more than something pretty to look at; it is about expressing emotions, creating an experience, and connecting with others.
She named her company Act 2 Art because she feels this is her second Act. Don’t worry she is not quitting her day time passion as a Personal Trainer but she is available for commission pieces.
When she is not painting, you will find her training her clients, running, biking, or having fun with her husband Jeff and her 3 boys Jacob, Ben, Noah, and their dog Woody.
